Words carry power. They can bring healing or cause harm, peace or division. They are not just sounds—they’re spiritual tools. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) says:“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
What we say lingers long after the words leave our mouth. A careless statement can break someone’s confidence. A loving affirmation can rebuild a broken spirit.
We must use our words wisely, intentionally, and prayerfully. Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV) encourages us:“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.”
Ask yourself before you speak: Will this word bring life? Or will it wound? Even truth must be delivered with grace. Words create atmospheres—choose to create peace.
Let your words reflect your faith. Speak life. Build people up. Choose words that align with God’s heart.
