When You’re the Only One Who Sees the Storm: Finding Strength in the Silence

There are moments when the world around you seems calm, but your inner world is in turmoil. You hear the noise. You see the storm. And yet, it feels like no one else notices. The chaos is real, but so is your courage.
When you're the only one who feels the disruption—emotionally, spiritually, or mentally—it can feel lonely. But you are not alone.
God has a way of speaking to those He’s called apart. Just as Noah saw the flood before the first raindrop, and as Elijah heard God not in the earthquake or fire but in the whisper (1 Kings 19:12), your clarity in chaos may be God’s call, not a curse.
This is the season to stand still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10). You don’t need to shout to be understood. You don’t need the crowd to validate the vision. Sometimes, God reveals the unseen to prepare you for the unimaginable.
Hold fast. You may be the only one who sees it now, but that storm will pass, and the purpose will remain.
